Film Studies

On Tuesday at 7pm, Film Studies will screen Bringing Up Baby, Howard Hawks’ 1938 film starring Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn, and a leopard. The following week we’ll discuss the film in the context of an essay by Stanley Cavell (who, incidentally, advised the director of our last film on his philosophy thesis).
